In Slovenia, we recommend a trip to the romantic Savica waterfall or the iconic largest lake Bohinj (here there will be a much higher concentration of people). But even in the Czech Republic, you don't have to look for places to get engaged for long. In Šumava, romantic lakes like Černé or Plešné await, which have a blue-green tinge in the right light. And if you're tempted by a more raw atmosphere, try the flooded quarries – such as Velká Amerika, Šífr Quarry or Quarry in Hradiště, where the colour of the water will amaze you. Just be careful with the timing, these places can be touristy in the summer months, so we recommend opting for weekday mornings.
