Ring sizes can be a problem for many customers. But if you know the basics, it will be easier for you to get the right one. There are many different ways of sizing rings around the world. The British mark rings with letters, while the US uses lower units of numbers. We at Mialis use the European size markings, which refer to the millimetre width of the inner edges of the ring. These are numbered from 46 (14.6mm diameter) to 65 (20.7mm diameter). The most commonly purchased sizes for women's rings are 52 and 53, while for men it is 59 to 61.

Now you know how to measure your ring size. But before you start your shopping journey and find the right original ring, remember that there are many factors that can affect the correct measurement. Fingers swell during the day. This can be caused by high outside temperatures, air pressure changes, stress, alcohol consumption or heavy physical activity. For perfect results, it is better to repeat the measurement several times.
What if the ring doesn't fit? We can fix it as well. Remember, however, that ring sizing should not be done more than 3 times, because otherwise the jewellery may lose its quality. Almost all rings can be resized and it doesn't matter if you want to make the ring smaller or bigger. The process does not affect the design of the jewellery, so you will not see any changes. The only exception to this are eternity rings that are set with gemstones around the circumference – these pieces cannot be resized and will need to be newly created. If you can't get it right, don't despair! In our jewellery studio we will make your first ring resize free of charge. According to our terms and conditions, we have 14 working days to do it, but usually the whole process is quicker. Additional resize will be charged depending on the ring type and required size range.
